Product Owner

The job

You will help development teams in order to create products solving user’s problems. Plan and prioritize user stories to ensure project progress and product quality. Maintain and organize the team's backlog. Approve completed tasks to continue product development. Your focus is not only increasing our clients’ short-term goals, performance and maximizing its users value, but also driving mid to long term transformation within the clients we serve.

Responsibilities

    As a Product Owner, you will take part in our clients company development on multiple topics and missions, such as:

    • Determine your product vision, feature set, and growth opportunities are -thus maximization of user value happens.
    • Investigate the market, analyzing the participants in the sector.
    • Coordinate business, design, and development teams.
    • Prioritize product backlog and refine user stories with the development team hence INVEST criteria is met before development.
    • Visualize short- and medium-term roadmap to main project stakeholders.
    • Lead product launch plans and set expectations for the delivery of new and future functionalities.
    • Provide business context to the design and development team.
    • Evaluate the resources necessary for the successful product definition, providing relevant business and design context to the development team.
    • Lead the Sprint Planning ceremony to show designed user stories selected for development & design to the rest of the team so story points can be assigned to each user story.
    • Generate reports about product progress and business impact.
    • Define the tactical plan to achieve the product vision, feature set, and growth opportunities.
    • As other project’s needs:
    • Collect, identify, and formalize the project requirements.
    • Contribute to the coordination of the project with all the internal teams (developers, consultants, salespersons).
    • Respect the quality norms, costs, and deadlines.
    • Contribution to the elaboration of the project deliverables (reports, presentations, models…).

    Profile Requirements
    • We focus (but do not constraint) our search on professionals with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, and Communication. Masters is a plus.
    • Previous experience as Product Owner of IT areas.
    • Experience in financial services, mobile banking or fintechs it’s a bonus.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in software development products projects.
    • English advanced level.
    • Passionate about software development and technology world.
    • Digital and technology enthusiast.
    • You are energetic, autonomous, and rigorous.
    • Your ideal work experience would be 2 to 5 years.
